I was staying in the place I´ve been before the surfcamp to sit their sausage dogs for a weekend. So when it was monday I was changing accomadation. So I booked a hostel even though I was kind of lazy and a bit sad this

After I checked into the hostel, wrote my heart out about what made me sad, lay in bed for 20min and wanted to cry a bit, went for a drink with a friend and all was good.
Just before I went out for a drink, there were 2 people in my dorm that I approached. A girl from Belgium and guess what, a guy from France. (in a chapter about capetown that I will post later, you will find out why I mention that) I asked them what they were doing in the evening and they wanted to go to Lionshead. I wanted to do this for the sunset already since one week. So we agreed to go together. Two hours later we were sitting in the Uber to the start point and started going up.
These two great people had had great experiences so far and shared how they had spent the last 5 months working at a wildlife recovery center. There they also had the opportunity to work with children and teach them about environmental awareness and more. The hike was totally beautiful and on the top of the lionshead people from all different countries just gather and appreciate the great view and wait for the sunset.

So we met a couple from Luxembourg who were super sweet and happy to meet us, the nationalities of the countries surrounding them (Belgium, France, Germany). Also, of course, more Germans, French, Russians, Swiss, Slovenians and more. (I didn't have a conversation with everyone, but it was a good atmosphere and everyone enjoyed the unique moment).

On the way back it was getting dark, so we witnessed the spectacle of the sunset, the twilight, the moonrise and the lighting up of the city lights. Then on this way downhill we met a cute little scorpion. Not to leave unmentioned that the French guy was also a scorpio so by the red full moonrise there were 3 scorpios also just 3 humans that sharded this beautiful natures events together.

Of course after the hike we had cravings for a shower and pizza. When we finally ordered our Uber, which turned out to be a bit of a difficult task, we changed the destination address 3 times because we actually wanted to go to an Italian restaurant carefully chosen by our french friend. In the end, however, we were a bit late and went straight to the hostel, where we ordered pizza with Ubereats. We sat on the balcony and perished with drinks and the drinking game Ring of fire. When the terrace of the hostel has closed at 1am we switched to the balcony above at the dorms and have talked until 3:30am still about God and the world.
We talked about travel, love, rich and poor, meat eaters and vegans, life and death, unforgettable moments and traumatic events, school time and the future, friends and family, books and languages and also just stupid stuff.
The day that I woke up a bit lethargic and melancholic and had a little mentalbreakdown in the hostelbed, went so unexpectedly flowy, beautiful, eventful and ended so unique. I know the universe supports me and knows my path I trust it so implicitly.
